We stayed up very late the night before partying and the next day at the race I threw up in my helmet on the line in the Open Class just as I dumped the clutch but still nailed the run. LoL I took home 1st that day :~)."

What is your best memory? "My first time ever over the top on being the first one of the day to make the top of the hill on my 2014 KTM 85SX at Monson back in April of 2014; there was absolutely no better feeling then being the first one at 13 years old to accomplish the Monson Monster after 8 years of riding and crashing! Finally making it."
2022, I had one of my worst crashes yet. Ended up with a brain injury and bed ridden in the hospital almost a week. I was petrified to get on a bike. Timothy really opened my eyes and gave me the support that I never knew I needed. He saw the potential in myself that no one ever has before. After my bad accident; I took a break from the saddle nearly half a year and finally swung my leg back over the bike. 2023 is my golden year. This is going to be the year I prove to myself I can do anything I set my mind to.
Besides racing, I took my head game a little further than I believed was possible myself; in 2021 I joined a local fire Department and from there it’s been up hill. I completed the 2022 Massachusetts Career Recruit 260 Fire Academy, and completed the 2022 Massachusetts State Emergency Medical technician 240 hour course.
I also completed & passed the 2022 Massachusetts Firefighter Civil Service Test.
Now that I have my career fully in sync, and on its way to doing what I truly love and want to do for the rest of my life, I now am focused on a strong 2023 Racing Season of Motorcycle Hillclimbing and Motocross with the NESC Series.
I am so thankful for the opportunities I have been given, riders I have worked with, and family I’ve made over the years , including this year; Logan Deshaies’s Family & Friends. They know who they are (Spragues) , and my little buddy B ❤️ It wouldn’t be the same without them.

What is your best memory? "The 1990-91 race seasons. I was racing the Open Class with my Big Bore H2 Triple against Dan Watson who was riding a Harley Davidson for Tibby. Those were the most exciting years of my racing career."

"Winning the 2004 AMA National in Canaan, NH. Dave Watson was on crutches trying to climb over an orange snow fence to meet me at the bottom of the return road after that run. "

"My 2002 Cr250 will always be my baby. Racing it for 11 years, I was so comfortable on it and knew it like the back of my hand. I won all of my Amateur National Championships on it ."

"Bay City, WI or Devil's Staircase in Ohio."
What is your best memory?:
"At my 2nd ever American Pro Hillclimb and 3rd time ever racing a 450, I placed 8th at Devil's Staircase out of a stacked class of 35 talented riders. My whole life I've been held back from what I've been capable of such as being told I'd get hurt trying to race a 450, that I would be selfish for an opportunity to race Pro or racing other hills across the country, and that I just wasn't a good enough rider to do more than I was at the amateur level and would be a joke to the Pro circuit. I finally stood up for myself and applied for my Pro license, drove myself and my 3 kids to Ohio for my 2nd Pro race, and with a little help getting my bike there and dialed in, I was able to pull off a top 10 at the biggest race of the year. That day and that feeling of accomplishment and self-worth with my kids by my side will always be one of my favorite memories."

"My best bud Shawn Farnsworth and the legend DW7 Dave Watson. They formed me into what and who I am today and pushed me to get me started in the Pro Hillclimb scene."

"Nothing can compare to Poags Hole."
Highlights from last season?
"After totally being off a dirt bike for 11 years, and sweeping 4 New England Championship titles, 3 Fast Time awards on a brand new build, National #3, and never hitting the ground all season, I feel we had a great comeback season. "
What are your plans for next season? "Honestly, I have a lot going on with family and business. I have a couple bikes I started building for the AHDRA (All Harley Drag Racing Assoc.) that I need to finish and get the R&D process going. I do have plans though to build myself another 1 maybe 2 more motorcycles and will eventually go back to banging bars in American Hillclimb East."
